It is now 2019 and Travel without Time or Distance has now opened up with all of the new research in Quantum Computing. There's a good basic understanding of  Quantum entanglement, or how the change in one particle can be measured in another "entangled" particle without any limitations on time or distance. The scalability of Quantum computers in the future and their computation power will surpass what we have seen in the last 50 years. With $30 Billion in research funded in the past few years by the largest companies and governments on a global push, this will be an ongoing process to become reality.

It's like the basic research on the classic computer of today. Quantum computers will reach an expansion rate that will be 4 times the current annual rate of development. Now IBM has cloud based Quantum computers and simulators available to the public for free. 

What are some of the industries that will benefit from the development of quantum computers? Let's start with space and the need to calculate the coordinates for for space travel. Every touch point of STEM will make exponential gains. Medical researchers will have the ability to create new and more effective medication and find cures for many of today's diseases. Chemistry and Biology will create safer living ecosystems for here and beyond. Neuro scientists and neurologists will be able to better understand consciousness and basic human thought. 

What products or services will Quantum computing create? Highly advanced neural networks to control billions of autonomous vehicles (commercial, industrial, and private) can be achieved with the computing power provided by Quantum. We have touched on space travel already. Safety for each and everyone in all aspects of life. Predicting, by way of probability, the outcome of simulations and experiences of real life events. Education will be an entirely different experience, with early education being telepathic at the start of the third trimester. Robotics is a given and you may have a companion robotic friend. 

Quantum will be part of every day life. In 25 years what will your children or grand children be doing and are they prepared for life in 2044? We all need to start a conversation with the future of our families.
